VIP Protection Services - Close Protection

AROS protection is handling the protection of various VIP’s in KZN and we have a 100% safety record. Due to the sensitive nature of the information we cannot disclose the identities of our clients. We do not just protect our client from physical harm but from embarrassment as well.

The company is run according to a strict disciplinary code. Our protection staff is registered with PSIRA and is paid according to their wage scale. Our guards receive task orientated training based on the client’s needs before his deployment to site. Our protection staff has extensive experience in the VIP sector and the Taxi industry. Before we deploy protection officers to safe guard a client we take the following into consideration:

MEDICAL INFORMATION:
Does the client have a serious medical condition?
Can the close protection officer carry the clients prescribed medicine for emergency dosage?
Does the client have a life threatening allergy?
Can the close protection officer carry prescribed medicine for emergency dosage?

THREAT ASSESSMENT:
A security assessment needs to be done on the residential and business address of the client, where we will advise the client on weak points in their personal security set up, cost effective solutions will be part of the report back to the client. As we have experience in protection of role players in the taxi industry we are well aware of daily threat of violence in taxi ranks, and how to secure them from attacks.

We would prefer to do advance visits to places the client frequents to assess the security set up at these locations. We need to establish hard rooms at these locations that can be defended with success and alternate exits that leave the protection team tactical options. Part of the study will include what medical facilities are in the close vicinity and what level of care they can supply.
Does the client have any sworn enemies or has he received any threats?
Did the client have serious labor disputes recently?

Our staff will visit the local police station and obtain the current crime situation focusing on patterns, tendencies and modus operandi. All this information is then backed up by crime reports we receive from our guards deployed all over KZN, and our years of experience in this field. This will assist our personnel to be situational aware, and be vigilant for attack indicators.
All the information will then be used to formulate an effective protection plan, and advise our clients on the ideal level of protection suited for their situation.
